Until recent years, a sole member of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) was a member of a flock. Beginning in the 1990s, we began to see more members of the Knesset who acted as lone wolves among their parties.
Why did this transition occur? When did it happen? Are there any options for the parties to enforce sanctions on the rebel members?
