Yizkor Memorial Book
Each year, during the Yamim Nora’im, we are called upon to dedicate ourselves to the process of remembering and renewing: we remember those we have lost; we recall our past deeds and promises; and we renew our commitment to mitzvot, to one another, and to our community.
When you recite yizkor, you renew and strengthen your connection with your loved one. The prayer is also a personal pledge to give charity in honor of those who are being remembered.
New this year, we are pleased to introduce our new online Yizkor Memorial Book, which you can see above. The Yizkor Memorial Book will live on the BJ website all year and will be renewed annually.
Submissions for next year’s Yizkor Book will open in the leadup to 5779.
