Kulanu: 3rd-6th Grade
Rabbi Rachel Cowan Chapel | 10:45AM-12:00PM
This Shabbat morning service is a welcoming, engaging, and educational space for 3rd-6th graders and their families, led by Rabbi Erin Glazer and the Marshall T. Meyer Rabinic Fellows. Accompanied by great musicians, youth in 3rd through 6th grade are invited to help lead the prayers, and families are encouraged to ask questions and to participate in discussions about Shabbat, prayer, and the weekly Torah reading. Students enrolled in Kadima@BJ are required to attend this Shabbat morning service five times throughout the year.
On the first Shabbat morning of each month, we are also offering a Kadima@BJ family elective, that everyone is invited to participate in! We will explore the ins and outs of prayer, while also participating in Shabbat morning services with the community. Following the beginning of services, families will participate in learning with the BJ clergy and will then join other families for Kiddush and Motzi.
