Volunteer During the High Holy Days
Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
Each year, more than 3,000 people come together at BJ to bring in the new Jewish year. Hundreds of volunteers make these beautiful services possible: behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to the Yamim Nora’im, BJ community members fold tallitot, polish kiddush cups, organize materials, and run those random errands that inevitably come up when you’re producing the equivalent of four off-Broadway shows. At the doors, volunteers welcome and greet, help people find seats, and create a sacred space for the spiritual work of the season with their warmth and love.
