Towards a Queer Judaism: Halakhic Approaches to Homosexuality

Pride Shabbat Dinner with Rabbi Roly Matalon

Celebrate Pride Month and elevate your Shabbat with friends and food! LGBTQ community members, friends, and allies are invited to join us for a potluck Shabbat dinner with wine. Rabbi Roly Matalon will lead a conversation about BJ’s history of LGBTQ inclusion among conservative synagogues and in the larger Jewish community, as well as our work advocating for marriage equality.

Jew York Pride 2019

Sunday, June 30 | 11:00AM | Location given upon registration

Celebrate World Pride with LGBTQ Jews and allies of all ages and backgrounds at the 4th annual Jew York Pride!  Festivities begin at with brunch in the Times Square area. Then, at 1:00PM, we will line up and march as the Jew York Pride delegation. Brunch and march locations provided upon registration.

This event is hosted by Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, JQY, Keshet, Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, and UJA-Federation of New York, and co-sponsored by A Wider Bridge, Ansche Chesed, B’nai Jeshurun, Beth El Synagogue Center, Columbia/Barnard Hillel, Eshel, Footsteps, JTS, METNY USY, Sephardic-Mizrahi Q Network, and Westchester Jewish Council.
