Leah is grateful to call BJ her life-long spiritual home. Leah currently coordinates the math curriculum for the Early Childhood and Lower School at Grace Church School. At BJ, Leah is a regular Torah and haftara reader on Shabbat mornings and a weekday minyan leader. She has been helping to coordinate BJ’s Vaccine Volunteer Initiative, which works to secure COVID-19 vaccine appointments for vulnerable New Yorkers. Prior, she served on the Jewish Identity, Belonging and Community Task Force in 2017-18, and participated in the Prophetic Vision working group of the Strategic Plan in 2014-15. Leah led Children’s Services on Shabbat and hagim, as well as a Rosh Hodesh group for teens from 2012-2016.
