How much does membership cost?

We use a Sliding Scale Dues Plan which allows members to pay their dues based on their household income.

Can I pay my dues in installments?

Yes! When completing the membership application online you may choose to pay 25% of your dues now. You can pay in monthly or quarterly installments. For alternative payment plans, please contact the membership office

I am in a difficult financial position and cannot meet my designated level of dues. What should I do?

No one will be turned away for financial considerations. Please contact Membership to discuss your situation.

I am not a member; can I purchase High Holy Days Entrance Cards?

Seating at our High Holy Days locations is limited; therefore entrance cards are issued only to members and their guests. We are not able to offer the option to wait in a non-member line. We encourage you to become a member to ensure entry to High Holy Days services.

When do I need to submit my membership application in order to receive High Holy Days Entrance Cards?

Membership applications are available online beginning in early June and should be submitted as soon as possible.  The specific deadlines for submission in order to obtain High Holy Days entrance cards by mail or by pick-up at the BJ office are communicated at that time.

How many entrance cards do I get with my membership?

Those with individual memberships receive one entrance card. Those with family memberships receive two adult entrance cards and youth cards for any members of the household 23 years of age and younger. Additional entrance cards can be purchased for $600 per person.

How will I receive my Entrance Cards?

Entrance cards are mailed starting in late August/early September. If an application is submitted later than the deadline set for having them sent by mail, entrance cards can be picked up at the BJ office.
