Youth Groups

B’nai Jeshurun offers age-appropriate experiential programming for kids of all ages. Through fun and informal activities, BJ youth socialize, partake in social action, and strengthen ties to our synagogue and their Jewish community. All BJ youth are welcome to attend all activities. Contact Michelle to become a member and receive free or discounted entry to all programs for the 2017-18 school year (registration links provided below).

Garinim

Ilanot

Grades 6-7 Youth Group

Ilanot, our pre-teen youth group for 6th & 7th grade students, serves as a bridge between our typical youth group programming and our teen programming, which begins in 8th grade. Ilanot programming takes the fun and friendship that exists within the BJ walls and extends it outside into the greater NYC community. The activities we do give these pre-teens a chance to have exciting new experiences, take on challenges, enhance teamwork skills, and have fun with their peers as they begin down the path of teenager-hood. Past programs have included bowling, ice skating, Escape the Room, sleepovers, and much more!

Register your pre-teen to become a member of Ilanot today! Members are granted free or discounted entry into all youth group programming. Programs are open to non-member 6th & 7th graders; entrance fee will vary by program.
