B’nai Jeshurun is seeking part-time creative, dedicated, and tech-competent educators to teach in our Hebrew School program, Kadima@BJ. We are searching for enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals who will partner with us in keeping Judaism relevant and exciting for our students and their families. Our Kadima@BJ model places an emphasis on tefillah, spirituality, music, and community. Through our elective-based model, we honor our students’ desire to be challenged, to learn through different modalities, and to have a choice in their Jewish education.
We offer a competitive salary, professional development, mentoring, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. Prior experience teaching and writing lesson plans is preferable, but not required. We are looking for candidates who can be available on weekday afternoons both IN PERSON and VIRTUALLY. Please email your resume and cover letter to Danielle Freedman.

Accordingly, BJ conducts its business and practices in a manner that fully complies with all federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity. BJ’s compliance with such laws are intended to eliminate discrimination against employees or applicants for employment on account of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, national origin, veteran’s status, disability, or other factors unrelated to a person’s ability to do the job.
