Young Couples Sukkot Celebration
Tuesday, October 15 | 6:00-8:00PM | Location given upon registration
Ever wonder about the meaning behind the temporary huts or booths you see around NYC in the fall? A Sukkah (temporary hut or booth) symbolizes the original ones made by the Jewish people as they fled Egypt. BJ member couples, join us in celebrating Sukkot, the Jewish harvest holiday, where we focus on welcoming guests and the simple joys in life—sharing meals with family and community and learning together. Join Rabbi Felicia Sol for a Sukkah visit and celebration where you will have the opportunity to mingle with other young couples as you fulfill the mitzvah (commandment) of enjoying food and community in the Sukkah.
