Moving Traditions

Rosh Hodesh (Sisterhood) and Shevet (Brotherhood), are small, single-gender, single-grade groups, led by Moving Traditions-trained adult mentors. Find your own Jewish community in a safe, relaxed space filled with activities, discussion, exploration, and fun. Our research-based and field-tested curriculum applies Jewish wisdom and values to teens in the issues they care about most, such as relationships, gender roles, healthy sexuality, social media, pressure, and stress.

Pricing: $180 for members, $250 for non-members

*We need at least 4 participants per Rosh Hodesh and Shevet Grade Group. If we do not have enough participants, the group will not run.

Additionally, in partnership with Keshet, Moving Traditions is now offering national online groups for Jewish teens who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender fluid, or gender questioning. These groups, led by a trans or non-binary group leader, bring together teens from all over the country once a month for two hours via video conference.
