Rosh Hodesh (Sisterhood) and Shevet (Brotherhood), are small, single-gender, single-grade groups, led by Moving Traditions-trained adult mentors. Find your own Jewish community in a safe, relaxed space filled with activities, discussion, exploration, and fun. Our research-based and field-tested curriculum applies Jewish wisdom and values to teens in the issues they care about most, such as relationships, gender roles, healthy sexuality, social media, pressure, and stress.
Pricing: $180 for members, $250 for non-members
*We need at least 4 participants per Rosh Hodesh and Shevet Grade Group. If we do not have enough participants, the group will not run.
Upcoming Dates: December 18, January 22, March 25, April 22, May 6
Additionally, in partnership with Keshet, Moving Traditions is now offering national online groups for Jewish teens who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender fluid, or gender questioning. These groups, led by a trans or non-binary group leader, bring together teens from all over the country once a month for two hours via video conference. If you are interested in having your teen be a part of these calls, please email Laura Schultze.
