Community-Wide Security Training
Thursdays, June 20 & 27 | 7:30PM, 2:30PM | Middle Room
Join us for one of two community-wide training sessions on active shooter preparedness, fire and bomb threats, and emergency exit procedures.
- Thursday, June 20, 7:30-8:30PM
- Thursday, June 27, 2:30-3:30PM
The training will begin with a video from the Department of Homeland Security depicting a realistic active shooter scenario, followed by a discussion about what to do in case of an active shooter, fire, or bomb threat, and a Q&A with Gidon Katz of Huntleigh, USA, BJ’s Head of Security.
We will then go on a walk through the building to learn about emergency egresses (exits).
The training will last for approximately an hour.
This training is not suitable for children 14 years and under. Please contact Danielle Freedman, Family Life & Learning Program Administrator, at email@example.com to find out about training for children.
