The Kaleidoscope Workshop: What Does Jewish Look Like?

Monday, May 20 | 7:00PM | Reception Room

Join Aviv and the Jewish Home Project for Kaleidoscope, a narrative-arts driven initiative that was sparked by a desire to highlight the stories of Jews of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, observance levels, and interfaith experiences.

The workshop will feature spoken word artist Vanessa Hidary and playwright Kendell Pinkney.

The Kaleidoscope Workshop is a facilitated workshop that takes communities on a creative journey to address the perennially elusive question: What Does Jewish Look Like? Through exploring personal monologues that highlight Jewish racial and ethnic diversity, participants will arrive at a more complex understanding of the external, communal, and individual realities that make up Klal Yisrael.

This event is open to individuals in their 20s and 30s.
