Everyday Ethics with Rabbi Adina Lewittes
Tuesday, April 2 | 7:00-8:30PM | Reception Room
Ethical questions of war and peace, global warming, immigration, and healthcare can be overwhelming. And yet, consciously or not, we answer critical ethical questions every day as we order our coffee, pay our workers, dine with our friends, and even shop online.
This class meets every Tuesday (no class March 26). Join us at any time during the series; all welcome.
Most of us pay little heed to the daily, mundane decisions we make, and yet they reflect deeply upon our ethical sensibilities and our relationship to values and beliefs larger than ourselves. In the spirit of New York Times Magazine column “The Ethicist“, Rabbi Adina Lewittes will guide us as we take an honest look at real-life examples of the choices we make, using Jewish and other sources to awaken, guide, and motivate us.
