Hebrew-Speaking Havurah

Sunday, May 19 | 5:30-7:00PM | Location given upon registration

Get together with other Hebrew speakers to discuss current affairs. Each month, a topic will be chosen and reading material (in both English and Hebrew) will be provided. At each meeting, we will hold a discussion in Hebrew.

This class meets on the second Sunday of each month*, registration is closed.

The meetings are facilitated by Rabbi Yisrael Serok, former senior in the Mossad, who was in charge of the underground immigration of Jews from Syria and other Arab countries. Rabbi Serok has vast knowledge of both contemporary Israeli society and Jewish sources, and always offers a unique perspective on Israeli current affairs.

Meetings will be hosted by the havurah members. The meeting dates for this year are: September 2, October 7, November 11, December 9, January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 19.

Make new friends, stay up-to-date with current events and trends, and share your own thoughts. Proficiency in Hebrew is required to fully participate in this salon, but membership is not. If you have any questions, please contact Nili.

* Begins on Third Sunday in May
