Shishi Israeli for Adults
Friday, February 23 | 8:00-10:00PM | BJ Community House
Join your fellow Israeli and Jewish Americans as we create a shared experience around the Shabbat dinner table. Shishi Israeli is Shabbat dinner with a special flavor of “Israeliness”—enjoy Hebrew conversation, Israeli food, song, and the warmth of community. Get to know like-minded adults ages 35 and older, while enjoying the finest of Israeli cuisine. The program will include a shira betzibur (sing-a-long) session of classic Israeli and Jewish songs.
All participants are welcome to attend Kabbalat Shabbat services starting at 6:30PM in the BJ Sanctuary. Doors open for the dinner at 7:45PM for candle lighting, appetizers, and schmoozing. Kiddush and hamotzi will be at 8:15PM.
Space is limited, don’t miss out! This event is in partnership with the Israel American Council (IAC).
