Shishi Israeli Dinner for Adults
Friday, November 24 | 8:00-10:00PM | BJ Community House
Shishi Israeli is where Israeli and Jewish Americans create a shared experience around the Shabbat dinner table. Shishi Israeli is Shabbat dinner with a special spice of “Israeliness”: warmth, Hebrew, Israeli food, singing and the warmth of community. Get to know like-minded adults ages 35 and older, while enjoying the finest of Israeli cuisine. This month’s dinner will have a Thanksgiving theme. The program will also include a shira betzibur (sing-a-long) session of classic Israeli and Jewish songs.
All participants are welcome to attend Kabbalat Shabbat services at BJ starting at 6:30PM in the BJ Sanctuary. Doors open at 7:45PM for candle lighting, appetizers and schmoozing. Kiddush and hamotzi will be at 8:15.
Space is limited. This event is in partnership with the Israel American Council (IAC).
