Everyday Ethics with Rabbi Adina Lewittes
Tuesday, January 23, | 7:30-9:00PM | BJ Reception Room
Extended due to popular demand. Ethical questions of war and peace, global warming, immigration, and healthcare can be overwhelming. And yet, consciously or not, we answer critical ethical questions every day as we order our coffee, pay our workers, dine with our friends, and even shop online.
Most of us pay little heed to the daily, mundane decisions we make, and yet they reflect deeply upon our ethical sensibilities and our relationship to values and beliefs larger than ourselves. In the spirit of New York Times Magazine column “The Ethicist“, Rabbi Adina Lewittes will guide us as we take an honest look at real-life examples of the choices we make, using Jewish and other sources to awaken, guide, and motivate us.
