The Interfaith Committee of B’nai Jeshurun seeks to identify, plan, and accomplish projects which:

  • Glorify God’s gift of diversity.
  • Affirm and celebrate our special relationship with the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew (SPSA).
  • Develop an awareness of the many interfaith activities that occur in NYC.
  • Facilitate positive interaction between and among religious communities and individuals.
  • Develop an awareness of the interfaith reality within our congregation and our city.

Our programs include joint study and social activities with the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew (SPSA) and with other faith communities, cultural events such as the Interfaith Pesah Community Seder, and community outreach programs.

Needed: People committed to strengthening interfaith connections who can help to organize events. Also needed are people to help welcome visitors from other religious communities at Shabbat services and dinners.
